[November 2025] Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Chairman Lee Man-hee; hereinafter Shincheonji Church of Jesus), a global denomination headquartered in South Korea, successfully concluded the “3rd Universal Invitation Revelation Special Lecture (hereinafter Universal Special Lecture),” which took place for four days beginning on October 30.

The event was held under the theme “The Path of Understanding Led by the Bible, The Path of Peace Walked Together by Religions.” It marked the largest scale to date, with over 1,000 participants including 440 leaders from various religious denominations such as Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, and Hinduism from 59 countries around the world.

Dissolving Inter-religious Barriers through the Book of Revelation

Launched in February 2024, the Universal Special Lecture is an international exchange program that seeks dialogue and peace among religions, focusing on the prophecies and fulfillments recorded in the New Testament Book of Revelation. Participating religious leaders confirmed that the word-based education of Shincheonji Church of Jesus serves as a powerful tool for humanity to become one, transcending religious walls. During the event, high academic enthusiasm was evidenced by the “World Religious Leaders Revelation Examination,” where 317 participants from 60 countries took the test, with 154 individuals achieving perfect scores. Consequently, a total of 125 domestic and international leaders were appointed as “Honorary Bible Teachers.”

■ Beyond Inspiration to Action: Notable Global Expansion Cases

Practical cases of peace in action were shared beyond the mere transmission of knowledge. Venerable Sok Buntheun, Director of the Higher Buddhist Education Department at the Ministry of Cults and Religions in Cambodia and a participant in the 2nd Universal Special Lecture, presented the results of a Revelation lecture he hosted at a Buddhist temple in his home country, inviting approximately 850 religious and social leaders this year. He plans to further expand the field of peace cooperation by holding a “Religious Peace Education Camp” in January of next year. On the final day of the special lecture, all participating religious leaders reaffirmed their commitment to practice in their respective countries by reciting a resolution to “fulfill the mission of spreading truth and peace.”

Chairman Lee Man-hee: “Truth and Peace are the Original Values of Religious Leaders”

Through his lectures, Chairman Lee Man-hee emphasized, “We must reflect on the past when we criticized one another and strayed from the will of God, and be reborn as spiritual leaders who uphold the original values of propagating the truth and realizing peace.” He added, “Let us achieve peace, the common hope of humanity, together through dialogue and communication.” An official from Shincheonji Church of Jesus evaluated, “This special lecture was a venue to confirm that the Bible contains universal truths for humanity rather than being a scripture for a specific religion,” adding, “It served as an opportunity to understand each other’s faith through the word and to recover peace and harmony, which are the inherent missions of religion.”
